Directions to sites:
BAILEY TRACT: Meet at back entrance. Take Island Inn Rd across from Bailey’s Store. Park in the field at the end of the road.
BUNCHE BEACH: Located off island at the end of John Morris Rd. From Sanibel, turn right onto John Morris (third traffic light after the causeway toll ). Follow road to the end. Parking fee $2.00/hour. Waterproof shoes recommended.
J.N. "DING" DARLING NATIONAL WILDLIFE REFUGE: Meet in overflow parking lot, left-hand side just before the entrance to the Refuge. Free parking. $10 fee for Wildlife Drive. National Park Passes honored.
HARNS MARSH: Located off island. Set GPS for 38 St West, Ft. Myers.
LAKES PARK: Located off island. Address: 7330 Gladiolus Dr, Fort Myers.
Meet at parking lot near the garden entrance. Enter Lakes Park from Gladiolus, turn right, go to the end of the road, continue to the end of the parking lot, near the train station office and the entrance to the garden. The bathrooms are located there. Parking $1/hour.
POND APPLE TRAIL: Meet in the FRONT
parking lot of the old Matzaluna Restaurant on Periwinkle Way. Free Parking.
SANIBEL LIGHTHOUSE: Meet in the fishing pier parking lot. Non-Resident parking $5.00/hour.
